Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a linear actuator capable of further improving reliability by suppressing the displacement of an axis line. SOLUTION: Each core 23 and 24 for a stator 12 includes first cores 26 and 28 and second cores 27 and 29. The first cores 26 and 28 include external cylinders 26a and 28a covering the outer peripheral surfaces of the coils 21 and 22, and first internal cylinders 26b and 28b and cover walls 26c and 28c covering inner peripheral surfaces and front end faces on the leaf spring 14 and 16 sides, respectively. The second cores 27 and 29 include second internal cylinders 27a and 29a and bottom walls 27b and 29b covering the inner peripheral surfaces and the front end faces on the reverse side to leaf springs 14 and 16, respectively. Both external cylinders 26a and 28a include fitting grooves 41 and 42 holding both bottom walls 27b and 29b while being fitted at the outer edges of both bottom walls 27b and 29b superposed in the direction of a central axis line O, respectively, along with a gap C set between both external cylinders 26a and 28a opposed in the direction of the central axis line O.
