Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pavement body which controls vibration to a driver in forward travelling of a vehicle, while causing large vibration to the driver in backward travelling to arouse driver's attention. SOLUTION: The pavement body 1 has a plurality of projections 2 arranged in parallel in the road extending direction on the pavement surface 1b. The projections 2 include a first surface 12a formed on the upstream side in the forward direction continued to the pavement surface 1b, and a second surface 12b formed on the downstream side in the forward direction continued to the pavement surface 1b, with the internal angle β formed by the pavement surface 1b and the second surface 12b is formed larger than the internal angle α formed by the pavement surface 1b and the first surface 12a.
