Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a deck crane in which the center of gravity is lowered and a housing is eliminated. SOLUTION: This deck crane 4 includes a cylindrical crane post 5 vertically installed on the upper deck 2 of a freighter 1, a base 6 swingably installed at the top end of the crane post 5, a jib 7 attached to the base part 6 so as to be elevated, a lifting winch 10 for taking in and letting out at least a lifting rope 9 for a sling suspended from the front end of the jib 7 or a common winch 14 having an elevation winch 12 for taking in and letting out an elevation rope 11 for the jib 7 and the lifting winch 10.
