Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a driving device for a hybrid vehicle performing engaging and disengaging operation of a clutch with a small and simple constitution. SOLUTION: This driving device includes an input shaft 41, an output shaft 26, a clutch device 40 and a case 3. The clutch device 40 includes clutch plates 42 and 43 engaged with the input shaft 41 and the output shaft 26, a pressing member 44 for pressing the clutch plates 42 and 43, a coil spring 45 for bringing the clutch plates 42 and 43 into pressure contact with each other by energizing the pressing member 44, an operation part 47 arranged in the pressing member 44 and extending to the input shaft side by passing through a large diameter part of the input shaft 41, and a piston 46 fitted to a cylinder 48 formed in a sidewall part 3b on the input shaft side, forming a hydraulic chamber 49 between a cylinder bottom part 48a and itself and separating-contacting the clutch plates 42 and 43 by moving the operation part 47 against spring force via a relative rotation allowing member 51 by being moved by hydraulic pressure supplied to the hydraulic chamber 49.
