Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a collector which improved accuracy to collect the particles by efficiently charging particles in the air. SOLUTION: The collector 100 has a hollow cylindrical housing 60 having a ventilation port 61 and a ventilation port disposed with a fan 20 at respective ends, and the housing has an inside disposed with an ion generating unit 10 for generating cations or anions, a mesh electrode 32, and an electrode 33 having a dust collecting board 35, in sequence from the ventilation port 61 side. In a dust collecting mode, outside air is sucked from the ventilation port 61 by the fan 20. Unipolar ions are released from the ion generating unit 20, and the particles in the air are electrostatically charged. The electrodes 32 and 33 are applied with a high voltage by a high voltage unit 34, an electric field is structured between the electrodes, and the charged particles reaching between the electrodes are attracted by the electrode 33 and collected by the dust collecting board 35.
