Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inductor which can prevent direct contact between a core and a case, and be manufactured at low cost. SOLUTION: The inductor has: a first fixing member fixed on the case and abutting on the first surface and side surface of the core to urge the core; and a second fixing member fixed to the case and abutting on the second surface of the core to hold the core on an opening side of the case. The first fixing member has: a plate-like portion disposed between the inner side surface of the case and the side surface of the core and spreading in a direction along the inner side surface of the case; a first arm portion bent like an L-shape from an end of the plate-like portion positioned on the bottom surface side of the case and fixed to the bottom surface; and a second arm portion folded back like a U-shape from the end of the plate-like portion positioned at the opening side of the case and having on its front end a support portion abutting on the first surface of the core. In the inductor, the first fixing member is fixed to the case, the core is attached to the supporting portion of the first fixing portion, then, the second fixing member is fixed to the case, thereby urging the side surface of the core by the second arm portion.
