Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To miniaturize a bankbook storage device, and to suppress the occurrence of a storage abnormality of a bankbook caused by a collision with an already stored bankbook in the bankbook storage device. SOLUTION: The bankbook storage device for storing a plurality of bankbooks includes: a storage for lapping the plurality of bankbooks on one another in a state that each of them is opened, and storing them; a bankbook conveyance part conveying a first bankbook to a position where the first bankbook overlaps a second bankbook already stored in the storage in the open state; and a guide disposed in the storage for leading a conveyance direction of the first bankbook conveyed in the storage part to a different direction that is different from a direction to orient to a projection of the second bankbook formed when the second bankbook is opened.
