Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tire air pressure reduction detecting device capable of solving the problem in terms of cost. SOLUTION: This tire air pressure reduction detecting device includes a means for detecting rotating speed information on respective wheels, a means for estimating a frequency characteristic of the provided wheel rotating speed information and a means for determining reduction in air pressure of a tire based on the estimated frequency characteristic. The means for estimating the frequency characteristic includes a means for estimating a parameter of a three-dimension or more of linear model in time series to a time series signal including the wheel rotating speed information, a means for estimating output data to the linear model from the estimated liner model parameter and pseudo-input data, an identifying means for identifying the linear model parameter lowered in dimension to two-dimension from the pseudo-input data and the estimated output, and a resonance frequency estimating means in the torsional direction of the tire from the identified parameter lowered in the dimension to the two-dimension.
