Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disk clamper with which disk clamping force is strengthened; and to provide a disk drive device with the disk clamper. SOLUTION: In the disk clamper 11 with which a disk-shaped recording medium having a hole on the center is held between a holding member to hold the recording medium and itself and fixed, the disk clamper 11 includes a holding part 11a which can be in contact with a periphery of the hole of the recording medium, and a recess 11k formed on a lower face of the holding part 11a.
