PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical sheet capable of striking a balance between excellent brightness and excellent shielding performance, and to provide a backlight unit using the optical sheet, and a display device. SOLUTION: In this optical sheet 1 used for illumination optical path control, for controlling an optical path of light entering from a light source 15 and emitting the light, an optical shape for condensing or diffusing light is formed on a light emission surface, and the optical shape is constituted of a combination of an approximately hemispherical microlens and a prism, and surface-roughening processing is applied to the surface of the optical shape.
