Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connecting pipe for cooling exhaust gas facilitating fastening work and securing sealing performances with a few bolts. SOLUTION: Bolt holes are formed on an engine side connecting surface 120 and a manifold side connecting surface 130 of the connecting pipe for cooling exhaust gas 100 one at each of areas positioned at both end parts of a port group constituted of port holes 110a-110d, and one at each of areas positioned between each port holes 110a-110d. Each bolt hole 140a-140e, 145a-145e formed on each connecting surface 120, 130 is alternately arranged with a line passing centers of each port hole 110a-110d put therebetween, and arrangement positions of the bolt holes 145a-145e formed on the manifold side connecting surface 130 are set in such a manner that the bolt holes 145a-145e and flanges 135a-135e do not cross an extended line of each bolt hole 140a-140e formed on the engine side connecting surface 120.
