Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric connector in which a contact and a shell are integrally molded with a resin to apply a waterproof countermeasure. SOLUTION: This is a manufacturing method of an electric connector 1 which has a contact 40 having a length portion capable of contacting with a mating contact along an engagement direction at the time of insertion engagement with a mating connector, a shell 20 of cylindrical shape capable of forming a through hole to envelope the length portion, and an insulator 60 that is integrally molded with the contact and the shell, and is provided with a stage in which the length portion is inserted into the through hole of the shell from one side of the through hole, a stage in which a first die is inserted into the through hole of the shell from one side of the through hole and a second die is inserted into the through hole of the shell from the other side, and the length portion is positioned inside the shell by the first die and the second die, and a stage in which the resin is poured into the first die and the second die, and the contact and the shell are integrally molded with the insulator.
