PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrically-driven construction machine by which rotating speed of a main electric motor same as that of low idle in an engine type construction machine is obtained, and safe operation of a link mechanism of a cab is secured by a simple structure. SOLUTION: The electrically-driven construction machine comprising the main electric motor, a control panel receiving commercial power supply for driving the main electric motor, a hydraulic pump driven by the main electric motor, a plurality of driven bodies driven by a pressure oil from the hydraulic pump, an operation means commanding operation of the driven bodies, an operation limiting means selectively operated to be at a first position effectuating the operation command from the operation means or a second position nullifying the operation command from the operation means, a cab, and a cab link mechanism enabling the cab to move up and down includes an inverter device controlling the output frequency of the commercial power supply, and a control device outputting a command for a low rotating speed of the main electric motor to the inverter device when the operation limiting means is at the second position.
