Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To distributes requests from a user so as to improve cache hit ratio of a map application server that supplies map information and the like corresponding to the requests. SOLUTION: A distributing device 120 distributes the requests transmitted from one or more client devices to a plurality of servers. A memory 126 stores first positional information indicating a region to be processed by each server. The requests include second positional information to be used for distributing the requests to the plurality of servers. A processor, when receiving the requests from the client devices, calculates the distance between the position indicated by the first positional information and the position indicated by the second positional information based on the first and second positional information, determines the server with the smallest distance as a server to which the received requests are distributed, and transmits the received requests to the server.
