Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide glass for a fresnel lens having characteristics suitable for a fresnel lens utilized for an apparatus represented by a light-focusing solar cell and easily formable of a pattern for light-focusing by a direct press method or a reheat press method. SOLUTION: The glass for fresnel lens does not substantially contain a coloring component and comprises, by mol%, SiO2of 50-75, Al2O3of 0-15, B2O3of 0-15, Li2O of 1-25, Na2O of 1-25, K2O of 0-25, MgO of 0-15, CaO of 0-15, SrO of 0-15, BaO of 0-15, ZrO2of 0-5, SiO2+Al2O3+B2O3of ≥60, R2O (total of one or more kinds selected from Li2O, Na2O and K2O) of 5-35 and R'O (total of one or more kinds selected from MgO, CaO, SrO, BaO) of 1-25.
