Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a wire from being caught in a control panel door during maintenance work for an elevator and the occurrence of a grounding accident accompanied therewith. SOLUTION: After a maintenance mode is set (Step S1), the control panel door 1 is opened (Step S2) for maintenance work (Step S3). After the maintenance work is finished, the control panel door 1 is closed (Step S4) to release the maintenance mode (Step S5). At this time, when the hold of a wire into the control panel door 1 is detected (Step S6), an elevator maintenance worker is informed of the fact (Step S7). The maintenance worker can notice the hold of the wire.
