Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid discharge apparatus which stabilizes an operation of a drive part, and also to provide a method of manufacturing the apparatus. SOLUTION: The method of manufacturing the ink discharge apparatus 10 has steps of: (a) preparing an ink discharge head 16; (b) preparing a wiring board 18; (c) forming a protrusion-shaped terminal 40 in an electrode 38; (d) bringing a land 52 into contact with the terminal 40 while securing a space S between a drive area G and the wiring board 18; (e) making a heater 62 abut on the area where at least a heat expansion member 56 is arranged on the opposite surface of an ink discharge head 16 side in the wiring board 18, and holding the heater 62 fixedly; and (f) heating the heat expansion member 56 and a heat curing type adhesive by a heater 62 so that the heat curing type adhesive is cured after the heat expansion member 56 is expanded and the land 52 is brought into pressure-contact with the terminal 40.
