Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent an increase in server temperature by preventing delay of cooling, even if a server rapidly produces a large amount of heat, to thereby prevent the server from causing abnormal operation, and to reduce energy loss due to rapid cooling, even if allowing prevention of server temperature rise. SOLUTION: A temperature sensor 150 measures temperatures of respective parts of the server 110 and a rack 111, and a temperature condition determination means determines a temperature condition of the rack 111 from the temperatures measured by the temperature sensor 150. A current sensor 170 measures power consumption of the server 110. A temperature prediction means predicts temperature change by electric power based on a temperatures measured by the temperature sensor 150 and the power measured by the current sensor 170. A control means for fans controls a fan or a louver based on the information from the temperature condition determination means and the temperature sensor 150. COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
