Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a color sequential display and a power saving method of it. SOLUTION: In order to further reduce the power consumption of the color sequential display, the frame rate or field rate is reduced according to the state for reducing the power consumption. The state includes whether a received frame is dynamic or static and the backlight mode is operated or not.
