Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid agent of preventing asbestos from scattering that employs a visible-light responsive photocatalyst and exhibits a high wetting effect, and a method of preventing asbestos from scattering. SOLUTION: The liquid agent of preventing asbestos from scattering is produced by mixing an aqueous solution comprising magnesium chloride, a montmorillonite-type mineral, silica particles, and titanium oxide, i.e., a visible-light responsive photocatalyst, which agent decomposes chrysotile or the like, i.e., a harmful chemical substance contained in asbestos. By employing the liquid agent of preventing asbestos from scattering, a high wetting effect, an antibacterial effect, and a deodorizing effect can be obtained. COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
