Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refrigerator capable of efficiently deodorizing odor components accumulated in frost attached to a cooler before the odor components diffuse into the refrigerator with a simple and inexpensive structure. SOLUTION: A refrigerating discharge opening and a freezing discharge opening are formed as the discharge openings of cold air from a cooler compartment, a deodorizing device is disposed in a cold air passage for distributing cold air from the refrigerating discharge opening to a refrigerating compartment, and when the refrigerating compartment is cooled, the refrigerating discharge opening is opened and the freezing discharge opening is closed to circulate the cold air only to the refrigerating compartment, thus odor of the refrigerating compartment generating much bad odor is effectively circulated to the deodorizing device to be deodorized, and the odor of the refrigerating compartment generating much bad odor is not circulated to the freezing compartment.
