Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To close the surroundings of a structure to be worked which is built under water by simple steps while securing high sealability without being affected by the altitude head and the depth of water. SOLUTION: This water cut-off wall body for closing is disposed, in a surrounding state, around a structure to be worked 2 which is vertically installed on a pedestal 4 under water and projects above the water level. The water cut-off wall body includes a water cut-off wall frame 11 installed on the upper surface 4a of the pedestal 4 in a frame shape, a hard-to-deformable support member 12 which is installed on the lower surface of the water cut-off frame 11 so as to project therefrom and brought into contact with the upper surface of the pedestal 4 so as to support the overall weight of the frame, a seal member 13 which is provided, in parallel to the support member 12, to the lower surface of the water cut-off frame 11 so as to project therefrom, a water cut-off wall body 14 which comprises a plurality of water cut-off segments 18 which are detachably connected watertight to each other and vertically installed watertight on the upper surface 11a of the water cut-off frame 11, and a buoyancy imparting means 15 for floating and sinking the water cut-off wall body 14.
