Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording device capable of uniformly heating a recording material stuck to a target to fix it. SOLUTION: A printer has a take-up shaft for intermittently conveying long continuous paper 13 from an upstream side to a downstream side in a manner that a longitudinal direction thereof is along a conveyance path, and a recording head for performing printing on the continuous paper 13 stopped in the midway of the conveyance path by jetting ink. The printer includes a drier 16 disposed in a downstream side position of the recording head on the conveyance path to heat the ink to dry, and a guiding member having a surface 29c which becomes a contact surface to be continuously brought into contact with a surface opposite the surface of the continuous paper 13 to which the ink has been jetted from the delivery of the continuous paper 13 into the dryer 16 to delivery thereof out of the dryer 16, the surface 29c having at least one of bent parts 29a and 29b in the dryer 16 to form the conveyance path.
