Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a canned food product heating device for heating canned food product when sold to a consumer capable of safely heating the canned food products, through the use of a non-contact temperature detecting element, without deforming or bursting the canned food products by overheating. SOLUTION: The non-contact temperature element 12 that does not contact the surface of the canned food product 2 is used, and a highly directional microphone 13 is installed to face a lid 22 of the canned food product 2. A current-passage stopping circuit for stopping the passage of current through a high frequency induction heating coil 11, through communication from the highly directional microphone 13 is installed, and, when sound in a predetermined frequency range is captured by the highly directional microphone 13 during the passage of current through the high frequency induction heating coil 11, through control by a temperature detecting circuit, the passage of current through the high frequency induction heating coil 11 is stopped by the current-passage stopping circuit.
