Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new waste material sorting method and sorting device which separate reusable plastic materials from non-reusable unnecessary materials by using a relatively easy method and means. SOLUTION: A cylinder 4 having a frictional resistance on the inner face is rotatably provided with its center axis tilted. Crushed reusable plastic materials and non-reusable unnecessary materials are supplied into this cylinder 4. When rotating the cylinder 4, these materials are separated as the reusable plastic materials are made to slide down inside the cylinder 4, while the non-reusable, unnecessary materials are left on the slope inside the cylinder 4, taking advantage of the friction coefficient difference of these materials.
