Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a backflow prevention structure which hardly deteriorates water sealing performance by having proper maintainability. SOLUTION: This backflow prevention structure 1 includes an inflow port 11 into which wastewater flows, an outflow port 12 from which the wastewater flows out, and an invert portion 15 which has a channel 14 continuing into the outflow port 12 from the inflow port 11. The backflow prevention structure 1 prevents the backflow of sewage into the inflow port 11. A spherical body 20, which is movably placed on the invert portion 15, is pushed by the wastewater flowing in from the inflow port 11 in normal conditions and moved to the lateral side of the channel 14, and pushed by the sewage flowing back from the outflow port 12 during the backflow, so as to abut on the inflow port 11 and close it.
