Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To smoothly form a coil member by winding a rectangular wire edge-wisely without interfering with part of an assembly apparatus, a wound coil, a non-wound wire or the like.SOLUTION: An assembly apparatus includes a feeding unit 60, a guide unit 50 and bending unit 40. In respective areas 52a-52d of a first guide plate 52 in the guide unit 50, in a flange-shaped strain member 51a and on an upper plate 42b1 of a pressing groove plate 42, slopes are provided, respectively. Namely, an inclination is provided which becomes higher in the direction of winding a distal end portion of a rectangular wire 10. Thus, a distal end moving mechanism is configured to move upward the distal end portion of the rectangular wire 10 prior to first loop winding. The rectangular wire 10 is wound edge-wisely by the distal end moving mechanism without interfering with part of the assembly apparatus, a wound coil, a non-wound wire or the like and a coil member 20 is formed. |
