PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a measuring device capable of stable measurement of antibacterial properties.SOLUTION: The measuring device includes a first irradiation part 44 for applying light having a first wavelength to a first container 41 for storing a sample and a reagent, a second irradiation part 45 for applying light having a second wavelength to the first container 41, a first light receiving unit 43 for receiving light applied from the first irradiation part 44 and transmitted through the first container 41, a second light receiving unit 42 for receiving light applied from the second irradiation part 45 and transmitted through the first container 41, a third irradiation part 34 for applying light having the first wavelength to a second container 31 for storing the sample, a fourth irradiation part 35 for applying light having the second wavelength to the second container 31, a third light receiving unit 33 for receiving light applied from the third irradiation part 34 and transmitted through the second container 31, a fourth light receiving unit 32 for receiving light applied from the fourth irradiation part 35 and transmitted through the second container 31, and an operation unit 80 for calculating a change of an absorbance of the sample caused by addition of the reagent based on the quantity of light received by each light receiving unit.
