PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve such a problem that it is necessary to transmit and receive a synchronizing signal in high frequency by transmitting and receiving the synchronizing signal whenever an optical filter is opened and closed in a video system having a video display device and an eyeglass device for viewing videos.SOLUTION: The video display device transmits the synchronizing signal in timing of opening the optical filter when the synchronizing signal is transmitted, and transmits the synchronizing signal by including time information in which the optical filter is opened in the synchronizing signal. In addition, the video display device opens the optical filter by reception of the synchronizing signal, opens the optical filter by open time information included in the synchronizing signal, and closes the optical filter after time passes. Thus, transmission and reception of the synchronizing signal is more efficiently performed.
