Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a range hood opened by its own weight in the state of being decelerated but not opened at a rapid speed, capable of manually adjusting an open state by an operator more freely than a prescribed position determined by the weight of a straightening vane and the resisting force of a damper, and capable of being closed without generating the resisting force to a close direction.SOLUTION: The range hood has the one-way rotating damper including one-way clutches 12, 13 and 15 permitting only one-way rotation around an axis of a shaft 11, and a friction force providing mechanism for providing friction force to a non-rotatable direction of the shaft of the one-way clutch and performing frictional sliding to the non-rotatable direction of the shaft. Sliding can be performed in the state of providing the friction force to the non-rotatable direction of the shaft of the one-way clutch through the friction force providing mechanism, and thus, a kind of a trigger function is provided such that, immovable fixing to the non-rotatable direction is possible unless input equal to or more than the prescribed acting force acts, and moving is started when the force equal to or more than the friction force determined by a friction coefficient acts, and rotation is performed only while the friction force acts.
