PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photographing apparatus or the like excellent in user interface during photographing, in the photographing apparatus capable of confirming a finish image from a moving image for confirmation.SOLUTION: The photographing apparatus PM uses a confirmation moving image generating section 114 to synthesize and display a photographic image photographed by an imaging section 198 (CR) or a background extracted image of the photographic image in real time and a given layout pattern or a confirmation background image, performs rotation, reduction scale change and alignment on a fetched image in accordance with a photographic image reflection area, uses a synthesized image generating section 118 to generate a synthesized image by synthesizing the fetched image and the background image or synthesizing a plurality of fetched images, and uses the confirmation moving image generating section 114 to generate a confirmation moving image using a cut area of a background image and the confirmation background image in which at least either the rotation or the reduction scale in disposing the cut area is different in accordance with a relative position of the photographic image reflection area with respect to the background image and at least either the rotation and the reduction scale during photographic image reflection.
