Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a main girder connecting structure for connecting main girders, adjacent to each other in the direction of a bridge axis, at intermediate supporting points of them, which reduces a cross-sectional force generated in a connecting member along with the deformation of the main girder, after securing required durability, and which transfers stress between both the main girders.SOLUTION: Top surface portions of intermediate supporting point-side ends of the pair of main girders 12 and 14 are formed as step-lowered portions 12b and 14b which are displaced downward by a predetermined amount from top surfaces 12a and 14a of floor slabs, respectively. The connecting member for connecting the pair of main girders 12 and 14 together is constituted as a connecting floor slab 50 which is fixed to each of the step-lowered portions 12b and 14b at both ends 50bA in the direction of the bridge axis, in the state of being arranged in such a manner as to straddle a joint gap 20 between both the main girders 12 and 14. In that case, a top surface 50a of the connecting floor slab 50 is formed in such a manner as to be elongated almost flush with the top surfaces 12a and 14a of the floor slabs; and an undersurface 50b thereof is formed in such a manner that an intermediate portion 50bB in the direction of the bridge axis is displaced to an upper side with respect to both the ends 50bA in the direction of the bridge axis. |
