Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a carrier for an exhaust gas cleaning catalyst and an exhaust gas cleaning catalyst which show the low content of Tand Tand excellent light-off performance and high temperature durability as DOC for cleaning a diesel engine exhaust gas, as well as a honeycomb structure of the exhaust gas cleaning catalyst, and also, a carrier for an exhaust gas cleaning catalyst and an exhaust gas cleaning catalyst which can reduce the use quantity of a precious metal beyond the known level, and shows higher cleaning performance than ever known and excellent high temperature durability as a three-way catalyst for cleaning an exhaust gas from a gasoline engine, as well as a honeycomb structure of the exhaust gas cleaning catalyst.SOLUTION: The carrier for the exhaust gas cleaning catalyst and the exhaust gas cleaning catalyst using the carrier, are composed of composite oxide particles which contain alkali earth metals M, Fe and Ti and also, includes a plurality of crystal phases. In addition, Ti/(Fe+Ti) is 0.01 to 0.45. Also, the honeycomb structure of the exhaust gas cleaning catalyst is provided. |
