Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a card connector of a push-push type, not requiring a program for processing chattering or bounce by actuating a switch mechanism when a card is attached to a proper position and detecting the card. SOLUTION: The card connector includes a slide member 21 capable of moving in an inserting and detaching direction of the card, an biasing member 22 biasing the slide member 21 to a card slot side, and a pin member 26 having a sliding end 26a relatively sliding in a cam groove 25 provided in the slide member 21 and a spindle end 26b supported in a body 2 side. The card is held in the proper position by securing the sliding end 26a by a lock part L formed in the cam groove 25. The card connector has a switching mechanism M, wherein when the sliding end 26a is secured by the lock part L, and the sliding end 26a is pushed in a biasing direction of the biasing member 22 by the slide member 21, the switch mechanism M is operated by the spindle end 26b.
