Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To keep airtight the inside of a ceramic pipe composed of a pipe joined with another pipe or a solid rod by securely joining them in manufacturing the same. SOLUTION: Tubular first long body 2 is connected coaxially with tubular or solid rod-like second long body 3 at both the ends of the long bodies. Cylindrical body 4 covers the outer circumferential surface including connected part 1a. First ring-shaped depression 2b is formed which runs annularly along the circumferential direction on the circumferential surface of the end part of the first long body and is covered by the cylindrical body. Second ring-shaped depression 3b is formed which runs annularly along the circumferential direction on the circumferential surface of the end part of the second long body and is covered by the cylindrical body. First ring-shaped protrusion 5 and second ring-shaped protrusion 6 are formed which run along the first ring-shaped depression and the second ring-shaped depression in the inner circumference surface, respectively, and fitted with the first ring-shaped depression and the second ring-shaped depression respectively.
