Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To replace contents of a television advertisement added to a video-recorded program with the latest content that has been impossible to replace, in a terrestrial digital television system. SOLUTION: Together with television program video data provided from a television program sender 2 and television advertisement video data added to the television program video data, a recording apparatus 41 video-records television advertisement additional information, including an advertiser identifier, a television advertisement identifier and advertisement viewing timing information. When a replacement determining means determines that the viewing timing of the recorded television advertisement video data has been passed, by referring to the television advertisement additional information upon reproducing the recorded video data, the replacement determining means 42 inquires as to a new advertisement, to an advertisement distribution server 6 that distributes the data; and if there is a new advertisement provided by the same advertiser in the advertisement distribution server 6, a television video-recording apparatus 4 receives the new television advertisement from the server 6 and sequentially replaces the recorded television advertisement video data, with the received new television advertisement video data and reproduces them.
