SOLUTION: A file management device includes a file registering part 22 for storing the received file in a file storage DB 141, a file attribute information and link registering part 23 for storing both the attribute information of the file and link information indicating connection with the existing file in a file information storage DB 142 and a link information storage DB 143, respectively, an operation information registering part 24 for storing information concerning an operation in an operation information storage DB 144 when any operation with respect to the file is received, and a file search part 25 for acquiring the file meeting a search condition when the search condition is received, and acquiring the file associated with the acquired file and the files newly generated and updated by the operation added to the acquired file.
