PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water content indicating adhesive article giving an indication by continuous exposure to water but giving no indication in a high-humidity environment. SOLUTION: The adhesive article comprises a first layer including a transparent film, and the first layer has a first major surface and a second major surface. The adhesive article also comprises a second layer including a fluid transport substrate, and a third layer including a fluid-transportable ink. The second layer has a first major surface and a second major surface, the first major surface of the second layer being in contact with the second major surface of the first layer.
