Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a metallized film capacitor with proper security is ensured. SOLUTION: An insulating slit 7 is provided intermittently in the longitudinal direction of a dielectric film at substantially the center section of the valid electrode width of a first deposited electrode 3A and a second deposited electrode 3B to form a fuse part 9; a first division electrode 11 is disposed in the longitudinal direction on the side from the insulating slit 7 to an insulating margin 4; and a second division electrode 12 is disposed in the longitudinal direction on the side from the insulating slit 7 to a connecting section 5. A margin 6, sectioning the second division electrode 12 or the end part N of the margin 6, is disposed so as not to overlap the deposited electrode side end part E of the insulating margin 4 of the opposing dielectric film.
