Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a non-oxidative one-pack hair dyeing agent containing Orange No.205 in at least a certain ratio that exhibits good hair-dyeing properties and hardly causes skin coloration. SOLUTION: The non-oxidative one-pack hair dyeing agent comprises components (A)-(E) and has a pH of 2-5: (A) 0.3-3 mass% of an acid dye component containing at least 70 mass%, based on the whole acid dye, of Orange No.205 and optionally containing Black No. 401 within an amount range such that the mass ratio thereof to Orange No.205 (Black No.401/Orange No.205) is less than 0.25; (B) 1-12 mass% of benzyl alcohol; (C) 2-9 mass% of polyethylene glycol having a number-average molecular weight of 200-10,000; (D) 5-15 mass% of a 4C or lower monohydric alcohol; and (E) an organic carboxylic acid or a salt thereof.
