Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To create electronic documents exhibiting a dynamic expressive power more conveniently. SOLUTION: When a portable communication terminal in a mail creation mode is instructed to turn into a video recording mode, it detects it and controls an imaging part 10 and an imaging control part 11 so that images may be continuously taken for a given length of time. After that, a live view display is maintained for a given length of time. If some image areas remain unchanged for all the plurality of taken images and the image areas are included in the images displayed on the live view screen, an animation file in a GIF format in which the image areas without change conforming to MPEG are permeabilized as α=0 is created. Then mail data which is temporarily saved in a memory 15 is read out and the created animation file is in-line displayed as an animation GIF icon in a position of the current cursor of the mail content in process of creation.
