PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light source device which uses light-emitting diodes as a light source, has a simple structure and achieves an effect of suppressing contrast unevenness of light. SOLUTION: The light source device 10 includes a plurality of light-emitting elements 11 each having a light-emitting surface 11a which are arranged at intervals in a row on a surface of a substrate 12 so as to emit irradiation light forward from the light-emitting surfaces 11a of the light-emitting elements 11 along the surface of the substrate 12. In the device 10, a light reflection suppressing area 13 extending forward from the lower end of each light-emitting surface 11a with a width narrower than that of the light-emitting surface 11a is formed on the front side of the light-emitting surface 11a of each light-emitting element 11 on the surface of the substrate 12.
