Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that an injection hole for rotational propulsion is needed for rotating a rotary washing means. SOLUTION: The dishwasher includes: a washing pump for pressurizing washing water; a first inner inflow passage and a second outer inflow passage which are like the substantially double-cylinder and in which washing water flows; a rotary washing means provided with a plurality of injection holes and having a first and a second conduits communicating with the first and second inflow passages to inject washing water while being rotated; and a water diversion means having a rotating rib forming a surface substantially vertical to the rotating direction in the second inflow passage and including first and second supply passages for selectively supplying washing water to the inflow passages. The first and second supply passages are formed substantially like a double-cylinder below the rotary washing means, and the second outer supply passage is formed spirally, so that the washing water of the second supply passage applies water pressure to the rotating rib while being rotated spirally. Thus, the injection hole for propulsion is not needed for rotating the rotary washing means, and all of the injection holes can be directed to material to be washed such as dishes to improve washing performance.
