Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner for carrying out energy saving in operation, miniaturization of an outdoor unit, and cost reduction. SOLUTION: The air conditioner includes an outdoor unit casing, an outdoor air conditioning unit, an indoor unit, a humidifying unit, and humidification air piping. The outdoor air conditioning unit includes an outdoor heat exchanger 24 and an outdoor fan 29. The indoor unit includes an indoor heat exchanger housed in an indoor unit casing. The humidifying unit includes a humidification rotor 58 sucking in outdoor air, a rotor driving motor 61 rotatively driving the humidification rotor 58, a heater assembly 64 heating one part of the humidification rotor 58, and a humidification fan 70 mixing moisture separated from the humidification rotor 58 with the outdoor air and conveying it to an indoor unit casing side.
