Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To correctly reproduce a physical phenomenon, even when simulating the verification of process precision of a product or the physical phenomenon of distortion or the like due to solidification and thermal contraction or the like, in a group of points remaining after thinning out. SOLUTION: A product model formed by a group of points and a model of an ideal work formed by planes are compared on a three-dimensional virtual space of a computer. A difference from a reference of a measured point is obtained, for each measured point, on the basis of a point that is on the model of an ideal work and corresponds to the measured point. The lines of equal difference with differences, which are virtual lines of equal difference to connect points with equal difference and which have differences being different only by an arbitrary width from the differences of adjacent lines of equal difference, are assumed. A group of points, which are on the line and in which adjacent distances are point-selection distances, is selected for each assumed line of equal difference. A group of points including the product is replaced by the group of points selected at a point selection step, and a work model, in which the group of points is replaced, is stored in a storage medium.
