PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medical cap which improves the adhesion of a plug body made of a thermoplastic elastomer resin to an outer frame body and a method of manufacturing the same. SOLUTION: The medical cap 30 comprises the plug body 1 and the outer frame body 6. The plug body 1 has a near columnar shape and is made of an elastomer resin, and the outer frame body 6 is made of a synthetic resin and has a cylindrical part 6a. The medical cap is made by fusing the cylindrical side part 4 of at least the plug body 1 with the inside wall 8 of the cylindrical part 6a of the outer frame body 1. The outer frame body 6 furthermore has ridge parts 9a and 9b extending inward from the inside wall 8 of the cylindrical part 6a. Furthermore, the top face side edge 3a and the bottom side edge 3b of the plug body 1 fused with the ridges 9a and 9b of the outer frame body 6 to make the medical cap. COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
