Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an endoscope, restraining a temperature rise of the tip of an insert part. SOLUTION: In this endoscope 1, a lighting optical system 21 for emitting illuminating light for illuminating an observation area of a subject and an imaging device 23 for imaging the observation area are stored in the tip 11 of the insert part 2 inserted in the subject. The internal space of the tip 11 is filled with heat transfer material 30, and the heat transfer material 30 is formed by curing flow material where an electrically insulating thermal conductive filler is dispersed in synthetic resin.
