Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tube for a heat exchanger with high strength and excellent brazing property, and the heat exchanger, while suppressing the manufacturing cost. SOLUTION: Three-layer clad material of aluminum alloy comprises a core material layer 21 which Mg is added to, a brazing material layer 20 with the melting point lower than 600°C formed on one surface of the core material 21, and a sacrifice material layer 22 with the melting point not lower than 600°C formed on the other surface of the core material 21. The three-layer clad material is bent and molded so as to form an overlapping part 15 at least partially, and the overlapping part 15 is joined by brazing to form the tube for a heat exchanger. The core material layer 21 includes not less than 0.2wt.% Mg after the brazing. The thickness of the brazing material layer 20 is not less than 25 μm before the brazing. The overlapping part 15 has a structure of joining the brazing material layer 20 and the sacrifice material layer 22 facing to each other, and heating time at temperature of 450°C or higher during brazing is within 12 minutes.
