Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication device capable of alleviating a process load of a device which receives data. SOLUTION: A multifunctional machine as the communication device can store a device certificate (device certificate to be inputted for YES in S6 or S8) inputted together with a user operation in authorization information storing means after certificate authorization. The multifunctional machine can also store the device certificate in the authorization information storing means without certificate authorization. The multifunctional machine performs verification by a certificate authority certificate related to the device certificate stored in the authorization information storing means without certificate authorization. The multifunctional machine also neglects the verification of the certificate authority certificate related to the device certificate stored in the authorization information storing means in an authorized state.
