Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reactor for preventing an adhesion interface between an insulating coating material and a core from being separated and cracks from occurring in the core. SOLUTION: The reactor includes the coil 2 for generating magnetic flux by energization. Also, the reactor includes the insulating coating material 3 that is made of an insulating resin and covers the surface of the coil 2. Further, the reactor includes the core 4 made of resin mixed with magnetic powder, where the magnetic powder 5 is dispersed into the insulating resin. The coil 2 is buried into the core 4 while the surface is coated with the insulating coating material 3. In a contact interface 6 of the insulating coating material 3 and the core 4, an insulating resin 30 at the coating material side for composing the insulating coating material 3 chemically reacts with a core-side insulating resin 40 for composing the core 4, thus chemically bonding the insulating resin 30 at the coating material side to the insulating resin 40 at the core side.
